Samurai is a YALSA Quick Pick Nominee

Just got word from my friend Mary Ann Rodman that Samurai Shortstop has made the short list for the Young Adult Library Services Association's (YALSA) annual Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Readers! It's tough to make that final list of ten, but it's an honor just being nominated. Books to be considered are selected by members of YALSA, and a special committee will meet during the organization's midwinter conference to vote on the winners.
