Congratulations to Rebecca Stead, Libba Bray, and Jerry Pinkney for winning the 2010 Newbery, Printz, and Caldecott Awards!

And a special shout-out to our friends Tanita Davis, winner of a Coretta Scott King Honor for Mare's War, and Hester Bass, winner of the National Council of Teachers of English Orbis Pictus Award for Outstanding Nonfiction for Children for The Secret World of Walter Anderson!

Thanks for the shout-out, Alan! I'm still chortling in my joy - chocolate cake all around! I am absolutely gobsmacked to win the 2010 NCTE Orbis Pictus Award for The Secret World of Walter Anderson - wowza! Congratulations to ALL of today's winners!
