Google Alert Round-up

>> Friday, January 2, 2009

Time to clean out the inbox of Google Alerts in my regular vanity check...

BookKids recommended Something Rotten and Something Wicked as great holiday gifts for teens this year. Er, I'm a bit late with that news. Sorry. But they also make fine Valentine's Day gifts.

Jennie over at Spoiler owns Something Rotten and would like to read it in the new year...along with another 300+ books.

Bella James at Bella Blogger stayed up until 7:00 a.m. reading Something Rotten because it was just so darn funny...

While kalafudra appreciates the meta in Something Rotten.

Amy of My Friend Amy appreciates my Twilight in Sunnydale post.

A couple of people have already added The Brooklyn Nine galleys to their LibraryThing lists.

The Brooklyn Nine also has its own page over at Penguin.com.

Dame Orchid of The Haunting of Orchid Forsythia gives Something Rotten four out of five cameo pendants.

Samurai Shortstop is available as a Mobipocket download on CyberRead.

A used copy of Something Wicked can be yours on eBay for $6.06, plus $3.95 shipping. Hurry! Auction ends January 5th.

And Powells.com has a used copy of Samurai Shortstop for $10 in hardback. I suppose it's a measure of my success that my books have been around long enough to start showing up in used bookstores...

Thanks for the shout-out! We love your books here at BookKids. Personally, as a former New Yorker, I'm really looking forward to the Brooklyn Nine!

Oh my gosh, Dame Orchid is my best friend! And she was mentioned on an authors blog! That is seriously cool. :)

So.. I'm not the only author who has a Google Alert set up for her name and novel. Cool!
