I Smell an Astronaut!

From my favorite blog, Boing Boing, these totally awesome commercials for MEGO's Planet of the Apes action figures from the 1970s. The first couple of commercials are your standard fare, but stay with them until the commercials start acting out scenes. The warbly "Also sprach Zarathustra" theme, the earnest, over the top dialogue--priceless.
Some of my favorite lines:
"I smell an astronaut!"
"What kind of place is this where apes are the ruling class!?"
"We can't afford to let the human remain a free thinker. We've got to . . . OPERATE."
Begging the question--what do astronauts smell like?
