Samurai nominated for BBYA
>> Thursday, October 5, 2006
Editor Liz has been in touch to let me know Samurai Shortstop has been nominated for the American Library Association's Best Books for Young Adults 2006 list, which means it will be considered at the ALA Midwinter Meeting early next year. (That's me wedged in between Printz Awardees K.L. Going and John Green . . .) Just being nominated, as I was for the ALA Quick Picks for Reluctant Readers, is fantastic!
