Rejected!

As expected, My Ichiko mystery short story "To Honor Ichiko and Defend Japan" got rejected by Ellery Queen. It is so hard to crack big-time short story magazine markets! I like this story a lot, so it's off to the next magazine - Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine.
Good response time from EQ though - I submitted that story on January 5, 2006, and got my reply back in the mail on February 17, 2006.
