This just in from Editor Liz: Samurai Shortstop has been named one of the Best Children's Books of the Year by Bank Street College of Education. Congratz as usual. I used to go to The Bank Street book store all the time when I was at Columbia. They're just south on 112th and Broadway. They always had a really fine selection of Children's and YA lit.
