JapanFest photos

>> Thursday, September 28, 2006

I'm busy busy busy! Just got back from a brief road trip to Charlotte, North Carolina where I spent a great day with the students at Porter Ridge Middle School, and now I'm in catch-up mode. Third round revisions on Something Rotten are well underway, and I'll try to blog about those soon. In the meantime, here are some images from this weekend's JapanFest here in Atlanta, GA, where I spoke about the history of baseball in Japan:

Somehow, this look works on large Japanese sumo wrestlers. But on this guy, well . . . he's a brave soul.

Two lighter weight sumo wrestlers go at it.

An archer demonstrates his craft.
