Life Lesson #3

To give our daughter Jo every advantage I can, I'm passing along to her the accumulated tips and tricks I've learned from my 38 years on Earth.
Life Lesson #3: Don't worry; Worf isn't really going to die. The main characters on a TV show never die unless they posed in Playboy or pissed off the producers.

  1. There is a Joss Whedon corollary to this, of course, but I can't tell her about that yet.

  2. Hahah. Yes. If they were stinkers about renegotiating their contract? They die particularly gruesome deaths.

Unless that whole Whedon thing comes into play.

I'm sure this is helpful to Jo; I spent a lot of time hiding at the tense points of TV shows and/or praying for the characters.

(Having written that I realize JUST HOW WEIRD I was as a kid.)
