I'm in Utah for my agent's annual client get-together. I snapped this shot on the way in to the Alta Lodge--and apparently there really IS gold at the end of that rainbow. Or at least a gold MINE. More pics and info as I have time!
Oh my gosh, you are in Utah, RIGHT NOW? Oh why can't it be for a normal signing? I just finished Samurai Shortstop and I am absolutely in love with it. It is easily the best book I've read this year (you're lucky, cause Catching Fire hasn't come out yet). :)
Wait... Barryfest. By any chance is your agent Barry Goldblatt? Shannon Hale lives out here, and he's her agent too...
How long will you be staying in our wonderful "Mad Men" state? :)
I WAS in SLC, but alas, not for a signing. Yes, I am agented by Barry Goldblatt, as is Shannon Hale. I got her to sign Rapunzel's Revenge at the retreat! :-) I was just in Utah fo three days, almost all of which were spent up in the Wasatch mountains at the Alta Lodge. It was amazing! We're going to have to come back!
