That reminds me of the time I actually D...Ha ha ha! That reminds me of the time I actually DID set something on fire in chemistry - my lab partner's hair! It was the beginning of the year and we were doing one of our first experiments - light a birthday candle, let it melt down and figure out if it was a chemical or physical change. Our candle was burning nicely - right in front of the gas spigot. I reached over to turn on the water and turned on the gas instead - the handles were RIGHT next to each other. WHOOSH! Huge gas flames were suddenly shooting across our lab bench - right into my partner's hair (she was bent over to measure something). We turned the flame off and got her hair put out quickly - and our teacher never again forgot to keep the master valve OFF when we weren't using the Bunsen burners. Fun times!Hi!
